You represent that any screenplay submissions by you are original and do not infringe upon, misappropriate or violate the rights of any third parties, including, without limitation, any intellectual property rights, rights of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary rights.

You agree to exclusively license the copyright in each winning screenplay to Open Screenplay for the purpose of Open Screenplay producing a single “short film” production based upon the respective winning screenplay in consideration for an aggregate license fee/cash award of $1,000 USD for the overall winning screenplay, $500 USD for the second winning screenplay and $250 USD for the third winning screenplay, respectively, to be paid by Open Screenplay and shared by you and your fellow winning screenplay co-authors in accordance with the Screenplay Equity Terms (i.e. as defined in the Open Screenplay Terms of Use), and you further agree to irrevocably waive your respective moral rights in respect of the winning screenplay in favor of Open Screenplay and its successors, assigns and licensees.

Open Screenplay reserves the right to make edits to the final winning screenplay to help with readability, clarity, or producing issues.
