REQUIREMENTS:

Topic:  The screenplay must be related to the topic listed above

Collaboration requirement: The screenplay must be written in collaboration with at least one other Open Screenplay user, and using Open Screenplay’s Guided Process.  In order to track collaboration, contributions to the screenplay by collaborators must be submitted on Open Screenplay.

Duration: The feature film must be 120 minutes or less, based on 1 page per minute. 

Rating: Abide by a “R” (or younger) rating.  For clarification as to the various ratings, consult the MPAA guidelines:

Narrative: Fiction only, no documentaries or experimental screenplays will be eligible.

Language: screenplay must be written in English.  

Maximum number of submissions:  Unlimited You may enter the contest with as many screenplays as you’d like. However, only completed screenplays will be considered.
