You represent that any screenplay submissions by you are original and do not infringe upon, misappropriate or violate the rights of any third parties, including, without limitation, any intellectual property rights, rights of publicity or privacy or any other proprietary rights.

You agree to exclusively option each winning screenplay to Open Screenplay for the purpose of Open Screenplay producing a singleTV episode Pilot) based upon the respective winning screenplay in consideration for a 2-year Initial Option Fee of $1,000 USD for the overall winning screenplay to be paid by Open Screenplay and shared by you and your fellow winning screenplay co-authors in accordance with the Screenplay Equity Terms (i.e. as defined in the Open Screenplay Terms of Use), and you further agree to irrevocably waive your respective moral rights in respect of the winning screenplay in favor of Open Screenplay and its successors, assigns and licensees.

Open Screenplay reserves the right to make edits to the final winning screenplays to help with readability, clarity, or producing issues. These edits will not affect the general content of the material, nor will it affect the Proportional Compensation Percentage of any individual contribution.
