Only three months after officially launching, Open Screenplay was selected to join the highly respected IDEABOOST Network Connect program, a competitive initiative comprised of over 70 of Canada’s leading tech entrepreneurs working in sports, media and entertainment.
Backed by the Canadian Film Centre (CFC) and CFC’s Media Lab, IDEABOOST is Canada’s only digital entertainment and media business accelerator. Their mission is to provide resources and experiences that build the ecosystem of media and technology start-ups in Canada. IDEABOOST is supported by an elite group of partners including Corus, RBC, Shaftesbury, KPMG, Goodmans and Jumpwire to name a few.
As a member, Open Screenplay also now qualifies for other IDEABOOST opportunities, including investment capital and acceleration; support funds from IDEABOOST Unleashed, which raises the profiles of Canadian tech companies internationally, and IDEABOOST’s Commercialization Labs initiatives.
